Our good friend Tim Magee of Reno opened this beautiful restaurant in Suvereto, Italy with his Italian wife Cristina. Tim and his family have been chef Alberto's friends since the old La Vecchia opened in 1991.
Staying in a private apartment is a great way to explore Italy's Maritime Alps. This apartment belongs to Carlo Rostagni a longtime friend and employee of La Vecchia.
Agriturism allows you to experience the Italian countryside intimately. This place is owned by Angela and Piermichele Moro, the daughter and son-in-law of longtime La Vecchia friend and employee Carlo Rostagni.
Besides fine Italian food, Chef Alberto's other passion is motorcycles. DesmoReno is the Ducati Owners Club of Reno that Chef Alberto founded.
Tuesdays La Vecchia hosts the Sierra Sportbike Association the west parking lot for Two Wheels Tuesday. Chef Alberto is a club member and motorcycle enthusiast and members love his food! See the events page for more info.
